About this detail of the Tiger
The turret floor in a Tiger was a full disc and was supported by three legs. These legs were attached to the floor by a flange and two bolts, shown in this photo.
The flanges were spaced at exactly 120 degrees apart. This sketch shows the position of all three legs, seen from above.
The top of the forward right leg was connected to the large crossbeam. This sketch shows the height of this leg as measured by me.
