The interior turret floor provided in this kit resembles this photo. It has three major errors, which I have crossed off. These items did not exist in Late Tigers, or they existed somewhere else in the tank.
Looking down on the bare floor, these are locators for the incorrect parts: [1] supports for a basket of jerrycans; [2] electrical conduit; [3] frame for the gun toolbox; and [4] location of the fire extinguisher. The kit designers misplaced all of these items because they referenced an Early Tiger instead of a Late Tiger.
(This part is from a Trumpeter kit but other brands are very similar.)
This is the floor of a Late Tiger (in Saumur museum). It is very different to the kit's floor. This photo shows two frames: [1] is for the gun toolbox, and [2] is for an MG 34 accessories box. Neither box is provided in the Trumpeter kit; Rye Field give you only the MG box (part J61).
The fire extinguisher should be on the left-side wall of the compartment. As for the electrical conduit, it should run forward, not backward. This museum tank is missing the conduit but it still has the cable [2].
As for the basket of jerrycans, there was no such basket in Late Tigers.
