About this detail of the Tiger
The kit instructions tell you to put the headlights on the top corners of the hull roof, for the decal schemes "813" and "731". This is correct for Tiger "813". But Tiger "731", which was formerly numbered "131", did not have headlights there.
Like the other Tigers of the 1st. company, it had its headlights moved down to just behind the front mudguards. And by the time it was numbered "731", they had been lost due to battle damage.
If you are building Tiger "731", you should not have headlights or headlight sockets on the hull roof. If they are molded in, as shown in the photo, cut them off.
Only a welded base plate should remain on the roof, as shown here.
