This kit has two mudflaps at the rear. There are two tiny notches on each part, which I indicate in this photo. They should not exist in a mudflap of this version (one that has the cross-shaped hole).
This is a real mudflap of the appropriate type. As I point out, it has no notches. The flange continues all the way up to the hinge.
