Every Panzer had an electrical junction box in the turret, at the end of the cable connecting to the hull. In the larger Panzer types it was the Kasten 5c.
For "Late" Tigers, this box was down near the turret floor, attached to some support strips. This photo shows the forward turret leg (on our right), the turret crossbeam (above) and the junction box (arrowed). The floor hatch has been raised.
This is Trumpeter's design of their turret interior. We are looking at that same turret leg. Trumpeter have not provided the junction box. Not even the supporting frame is present.
