In most types of Panzer, the gunner had some electrical controls related to the tank's lighting. They were located somewhere to his left.
Tigers built from about October 1943 to the end of Tiger production had these controls on a small panel (arrowed). It was attached to an equipment bin on the turret ring. Above it, two shafts (arrowed) connected the traverse gear wheel to the traverse gearbox.
Rye Field have given us a bin that looks shorter than the real one. But, more important, it lacks any control panel. You can improve the kit by scratchbuilding this item, and/or the two shafts.
