About this detail of the Tiger
The Hachette Tiger Tank model includes the steering wheel in the driver's compartment. Unfortunately the kit's interior was largely based on an early version of the Tiger, and the steering wheel is not correct for this Tiger.
As you can see in this detail from their own promotional material, Hachette provide a steering wheel with 4 spokes. It forms almost a complete circle.
In Late Tigers, the steering wheel had only 2 spokes and formed a smaller segment of a circle. This is an original Tiger steering wheel in a museum vehicle.
You can improve the accuracy of your Hachette Tiger Tank kit by cutting off the unwanted parts of the steering wheel.
