About this detail of the Tiger
Inside the late-model Tiger, beside the escape hatch, there was an MP40 machine-pistol for the crew to defend themselves if they were forced to leave the vehicle.
This profile through the turret shows how the gun was stored; it was held vertically in a clip beside the wall.
This view from above shows exactly where the clip was located; beside the support leg for the turret floor.
The Hachette Tiger Tank doesn't seem to include this item. You could improve the kit by adding the MP40, which is clearly visible when the hatch is open. This photo is from an 'early' Tiger but it shows the bottom of the clip, which was found in other German tanks also.
