About this detail of the Tiger
The Hachette Tiger Tank kit includes a frame that holds 3 jerrycans, fixed to the right side of the turret floor. These photographs appear to show the kit's assembled floor.
You can improve your Hachette Tiger Tank by omitting this frame. It was deleted from the Tiger's design before 1944, and replaced by two simple rectangular outlines. I don't know exactly what they were intended to hold; they are visible in this photo. Note that they are located towards the rear of the floor, not the side.
Nothing was stored on the right-hand turret floor in any version of the Tiger, because it was a hatch leading to ammunition storage. This photo shows the hatch.
This German diagram shows the bare turret floor, with the hatch and its hinges visible.
