This kit provides the four main cooling fans. They are arranged in pairs, two in each rear corner of the tank, blowing air through the grilles.
This CAD image from a typcal kit (Rye Field) shows the installed fans. But something is missing here in many model kits.
The real Tiger had these sheet-metal baffle plates attached on top of the fans. These plates were necessary to prevent backflow of the outgoing air.
Here is a real Tiger with the plate fitted. It blocks all of the gaps around the fan housing. These plates were present in every Tiger and are necessary for the vehicle to run properly, but they are not provided in this kit.
