About this detail of the Tiger
In the autumn of 1943, the Tiger's tool stowage was changed. The L-shaped portion of the starter crank handle was stored beside the antenna base.
This detail from an instruction sheet shows part P29, which represents the crank handle. This position on the right side of the hull is correct for a standard Tiger.
However, Command Tigers had some additional equipment in this area. The location of the crank handle on Command Tigers isn't known for sure.
Some photos of Command Tigers suggest that the crank handle stowage was mirrored to the left side of the tank. If that is true, part P29 should be placed as shown here. The long crowbar may have to be moved slightly forward as well.
