About this detail of the Tiger
The Tiger that was converted into a "Bergepanzer Tiger", was equipped with S-mine launchers. It had four launcher positions, and we have photographs showing that the crew kept the launchers installed, which was typical of the 508 battalion.
When the "Bergepanzer" was found by the Allies, all of the launchers were missing. It's probable that the crew removed them when they converted the tank. In its new role as a "Bergepanzer" it was not likely to need S-mines.
Dragon Models' kit includes some parts of the S-mine launchers, but they are useless because the tubes are not provided. A launcher was a single welded unit and the tube could not be removed. The assembly of parts A3 and A4 does not resemble any real device. You should therefore build the vehicle without launchers.
At the front of the hull, you should use the four PE parts that are provided to model empty S-mine positions.
At the rear of the hull, you should use the four plastic parts that model empty S-mine positions.
Since this tank was originally built as a Befehlstiger, it never had a fifth S-mine position.
