The Tiger had an extensive electrical system. The crew room contained radio equipment, lights, instruments, an intercom etc. There was a single fuse box in the crew room, taking the 12V supply from the batteries and distributing it to these sub-systems, each with its own fuse.
Here is the fuse box in the Saumur museum Tiger. It is fixed to the rear side of the forward bulkhead. The radio operator sits in the darkened area beyond it.
On the side of the bulkhead just below the box (arrowed) there was an unusually thick wiring harness (arrowed). All four cables from the fuse box went into it. Cables ran from its lower end (and one from its upper end) in various directions.
The fuse box was unchanged through the Tigers' production run as far as I can determine, and it was always fixed in the same place. It is therefore disappointing that this model kit does not represent it in any way.
