The instructions ask you to place the "1314" decals like so:
In fact, the real tank had its numbers placed at the front of the turret. Photographs are scant, but it seems this was the rule for LAH Tigers with spare track hangers.
This fragment of a photo shows the real Tiger 1314. You can see that the digits stand low down on the right side of the turret. They must partially cover the vision port.
We have no photos of the left side of 1314, but this photo of 1334 shows digits that would ha`ve been painted in the same style at the same time.
