About this detail of the Tiger
Border's "Kursk Tiger" kit supplies several different turret bins. One of them is a non-standard bin used by s.Pz.Abt.503. It is well known from many photographs, and about 10 were made.
Border have rendered this bin with raised welds, which is correct, and is an improvement on Rye Field's version of the same bin.
But there is a small error in Border's plastic. They put a central weld line on part "m4". It is pointed out on this photo.
In all of the many photos of all of these bins, not a single one of them has that central weld line. You can improve your Border kit by sanding this off.
