It is well known that Tigers were equipped for deep wading, until late in 1943 when the wading system was dropped. Every Tiger manufactured before that time was equipped with the necessary seals and a snorkel.
It is therefore very confusing to see Border's instructions at stage 15. They tell you to use the snorkel part (the long tube) for one specific Tiger - Tiger number "100". But that vehicle has no special association with the snorkel. There is no suggestion that Tiger "100", or indeed any of the Leningrad Tiger company, made any use of the snorkel. It is almost certain that all Leningrad Tigers were equipped with the snorkel. I cannot see why Border link the device to a specific Tiger.
