There is a 1943 report on the Tiger, written by British analysts, which surely serves as a reference when model companies design interiors for their Tiger kits. But the report contains some errors, one of them substantial.
All of the ammunition rounds in the Tiger's sponsons faced forward except for those in the rear right-hand ammunition bin. But this British diagram of the ammunition storage doesn't match the tank. It shows the rear left-hand bin (marked X) with its rounds facing backwards, which is wrong. All of the surviving Tigers and all available wartime photos agree on this.
The rear left-hand bin had its rounds pointing forwards. This is an extract from a photo of Tiger "131", at the beginning of its 1990s restoration, and we can see that ammunition bin. The forward ends of the rounds align to the solid panel and the supports that are close together (arrowed).
Academy made the same mistake as the draftsman in 1943. They put this block of ammunition (marked here) facing the wrong way.
You can correct this error in your kit by simply reversing that block of ammunition. Ideally you should also have the solid panel ahead of the doors, as we saw in the photo of Tiger 131. But Academy don't give us the central roof supports so it's not obvious that the panel is missing.
