About this detail of the Tiger
There are eight small holes in the turret roof of this kit. They represent the bolts holding the gun's travel lock, which was on the roof inside the turret.
Amusing Hobby have clearly based their kit on drawings from "Panzer Tracts 6", because they made some of these holes closer together than others, and that is an error found in "Panzer Tracts 6" and nowhere else. The real device had equally spaced bolts.
The real bolt heads were flat and flush with the turret roof plate, and I can personally attest that it's difficult to find them even when sitting on the roof. The simplest fix for this problem is to fill the holes.
