Tiger "003" was coated in Zimmerit before it went into service. Amusing Hobby's kit has a textured surface to represent the Zimmerit coating.
Amusing Hobby have created a radial "sunburst" pattern of Zimmerit around the vision ports, the pistol port and the turret side hatch. This may be overdone; we can't see those patterns in photos of the real tank.
One photograph clearly shows horizontal lines beside the left-hand port, rather than a radial pattern.
