Smoke launcher arrays on the turret are an iconic feature of the "Early" Tiger, but they are not a Tiger part. The array of 3 launchers on a base plate was used on many German AFVs in 1943. It was designed to fit the slanting sides of the Panzer III and IV, so the Tiger needed a slanting bracket added to its vertical wall.
You assemble the arrays at Step 23 of the instructions. All three launchers of an array should point in different directions. But they are separate parts and it's not obvious what angles to point them at. The correct angles of these launchers, relative to the base (B14 or B15), are 15 degrees, 30 degrees and 45 degrees, listing them from top to bottom.
Note that the tabs for the base are not identical. The distance between launcher and base plate (marked here) is least for the top launcher and greatest for the bottom one.
There is some room for improvement in these parts. The real bracket had two large castellated nuts (arrowed) on its outer side, and a corresponding bolt head on the hidden side.
Here is the kit's launcher. Compare its tiny bolt heads (arrowed) to the large castellated nut in the first photo.
