Locks for the mudflaps
From the end of 1943, Tigers were equipped with folding mudflaps. Both front and rear mudflaps could be locked into their operating position.
Each front mudflap was locked by a hook on a spring. The kit reproduces this system (circled here) with good accuracy.
The tank's rear mudflaps also had their own locks. That lock comprised a plunger, sliding in a sleeve on the rear wall of the tank. The plunger engaged with a hole in an arm on the mudflap.
But this kit gives you nothing in the position (arrowed) where the lock should be.
