The air intakes on the Tiger's deck were protected by metal mesh screens, reproduced in this kit by PE parts.
The real mesh screens were rectangular, with the left and right sides bent down slightly. Trumpeter's screens are flat, and they have a notch at one corner, which did not exist in the real screens.
