About this detail of the Tiger
The Tigers of s.Pz.Abt.501 were unique in having mudguard segments joining the rear to the side mudguards. These were made up by the battallion troops themselves, and there were at least three types.
The instructions specify the wrong choices of mudguards. These are the correct mudguard corners, as identified from the best available photos.
