This small-scale kit represents Tigers serving in Africa in 1942 and 1943. The 501st heavy tank battalion were the first to bring Tigers to that continent; later their vehicles were temporarily attached to the 10th Panzer Division. The kit has decals for one Tiger from each of these units, namely "142" and "813".
The all-plastic kit has link-and-length tracks. The unusual exhaust shields and air filters of the African Tigers are represented.
