Parts of the turret vision port
Two cheeks were bolted on each side of the plug in a turret side vision port. These cheeks were made of several welded metal pieces.
The cheeks combined with the metal plug to make an opening 160mm x 72mm, adequate for the direct vision block which was 150mm x 70mm. At the rear of this opening a rubber ring was placed, allowing the hole to be made watertight.
