Tamiya 35216 : engine access panel
The Tiger E had a fixed panel covering the rear of the engine compartment. In March 1943, a new triangular hatch was added to the panel [1] so that the engine could be reached more easily. Details of the hatch are here: http://tiger1.info/EN/RearDeckPlate.html
Tamiya's kit does not provide the new hatch. The kit is correct only for Tigers built up to March 1943.
But some of the options in the kit date from after March 1943. To use them, you would have to add the triangular hatch. You would also have to move the hook on the main engine hatch, as shown above.
