About this detail of the Tiger
The Tiger had a handwheel which the gunner used to elevate the gun. It incorporated the electrical firing trigger. This handwheel was beside the gunner's seat.
In the Mid Tiger, this handwheel was supported by an arm, standing on a structural crossbeam. These photos show the arm.
This is a combination of two German diagrams. It shows the handwheel from above. You can see that it's forward of the crossbrace, and it is parallel to the vehicle's body.
This is from Rye Field's instructions. They have provided the handwheel (circled here) but they don't provide the supporting arm. They tell you to glue the handwheel assembly directly to the crossbrace.
As a result of the missing arm, the handwheel is behind its correct position, and it is angled. Compare Rye Field's CAD to the German diagram.
