Dragon Late Tiger: turret ring guard
The turret ring guard on the hull top was made of 3 curved bars. To simplify manufacturing, the designers made these bars identical with 7 holes each. Only 5 of the holes were used in each bar.

The choice of holes to use was different in each bar, and was determined by the need to avoid items inside the hull.

The Dragon kit is the first to represent these holes correctly, but it has filled them all. You should drill out the holes indicated on the diagram.

These are bars recovered from Wittmann's '007'. They show clearly the difference between filled and unused holes.
