Tiger (P) premium : mantlet
The driver of the Tiger (P) had periscopes located very close to the turret. The left-hand side of the mantlet (the wider side) actually passed over the periscopes.
To prevent the mantlet colliding with the periscope covers, a notch was cut in the bottom left corner of the mantlet. This is a Tiger (P) mantlet, with the notch indicated.
The kit mantlet, part P9, does not have the notch. Here is an example of how you should cut it.
